In a bid to simplify travel procedures for Pakistani citizens, Turkiye has introduced a hassle-free e-visa service, streamlining the visa application process for both tourists and those visiting the country for business purposes.

While Pakistani citizens with ordinary passports must obtain a visit visa before traveling to Turkey, there is a convenient exception for those holding valid Schengen, USA, and UK visas or residence permits.

Who Qualifies for E-Visas?

Ordinary passport holders meeting the criteria mentioned above can obtain a one-month single-entry e-visa via the official website. This initiative aims to provide a smoother and more efficient experience for applicants, eliminating the need to physically visit Turkish missions.

Applicants can easily apply for a visit visa by following three simple steps on the official website, https://www.bolnews.com/pakistan/2023/12/turkiye-visit-visa-fee-for-pakistani-nationals-as-of-december-2023/amp/: Apply, pay a fee, and download. The final step provides a link to download the e-Visa, and applicants are notified of the successful completion of their application.

The same download link is also sent via email. While passport control officers can verify e-Visas on their system, applicants are advised to keep a copy handy, either as a soft copy (on a tablet PC, or smartphone) or a hard copy, in case of any system failures.

Turkey Visa Fee Details

As of December 2023, the visit visa fee for Pakistani nationals is $60. Applicants can conveniently make payments using credit or debit cards (Mastercard, Visa, or UnionPay) after entering the required information on the official website.
