Chairman Senate, President applaud army’s counterterrorism operation in Iran

President Dr. Arif Alvi and Chairman of the Senate, Sadiq Sanjrani, have praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Army for successfully targeting terrorist hideouts in Iran.

President Arif Alvi said in his statement that Pakistan will not compromise on its national security and territorial integrity and will take all necessary steps to defend its land.

The President further added in his statement that terrorism is a common challenge that requires global efforts to eradicate it.

Furthermore, Pakistan fully respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states and expects the same from other countries not to violate international laws.

Moreover, he further said that Pakistan and Iran are brotherly countries, and both of them need to solve the problems through dialogue and consultation.

On the other hand, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani also congratulated the Pakistan Army for carrying out Operation Marg Bar Sarmachar and said that the operation is a testament to the exemplary capability and professionalism of the armed forces.

The Chairman Senate said that Pakistan is a peace-loving nation, but this determination should not be taken as a sign of weakness. The success of Operation Marg Bar Sarmachar is a message to the enemy forces.

He said that there will be no compromise on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan, and the entire nation salutes the dedication and bravery of the Pakistani armed forces.
