Earthquake jolts down Balochistan south-eastern region

Earthquake tremors were felt in the south-eastern region of Harnai district of Balochistan. Fearing the earthquake, people came out of their houses, reciting Kalima Tayyaba.

The news sources said that Pakistan’s Balochistan province was shaken by the earthquake. Additionally, the Seismological Center said that the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 3.6 and that the epicenter of the earthquake was 45 kilometers south-east of Harnai.

It should be remembered that on January 11, severe earthquake tremors were felt in different cities of the country.

The Seismological Center said that the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 6.0 and the depth of the earthquake was 213 km, while the epicenter was the Hindu Kush region.

 Earlier, earthquake tremors were felt in different parts of the country including the federal capital Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar.

Earthquakes were felt in Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Swat, Diamar, Chilas.

Similarly, earthquake tremors were also felt in Nowshera, Mansehra, Lower Dir, Mianwali and Malakand. Earthquake tremors in other cities like Rawalpindi, Mandi Bahauddin, Sheikhupura, Swat, Bannu, Lower Dir, Upper Dir, Nankana Sahib and Peshawar.
