There is a possibility of drizzle in different areas of Karachi this evening, Bol News reported on Saturday.

The Meteorological Department said that Karachi is likely to remain partially cloudy during the next 24 hours.

The Meteorological Department further added that the city is likely to be partly cloudy on Sunday and Monday, and it is likely to be cool at night.

Moreover, the minimum temperature of the city is expected to be 13 to 15 degrees Celsius, while winds will continue blowing from the north-east and south-east throughout the day.

Earlier, Karachi, the temperature stands at a pleasant 24°C, offering a warm respite in the coastal city. However, despite the apparent warmth, the air quality poses a significant concern, marked as ‘Very Unhealthy’ with an AQI of 212.

This categorization indicates that immediate health effects may be felt by sensitive groups, urging precautionary measures, including avoiding outdoor activities. Even healthy individuals may experience difficulty breathing and throat irritation, prompting consideration for indoor activities and the rescheduling of outdoor plans.

Plumb Labs, a reliable source for environmental data, highlights extreme levels of dust and dander, as well as sinus pressure, contributing to the compromised air quality in Karachi.

Despite these challenges, certain outdoor activities remain feasible, with composting rated as ‘Good,’ providing an opportunity for residents to engage in environmentally friendly practices.
