The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has decided to delay the annual matric exams for 9th and 10th grades by one month due to the holy month of Ramadan.

The matric exams, originally scheduled for March 14, will now take place on April 18. This adjustment was made to avoid a clash with Ramadan, which falls in March and April.

The chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar mentioned that the decision was made in response to concerns raised by students and parents about the exams coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan.

The change in the schedule for the annual matriculation examination was agreed upon during a meeting of the chairmen of all boards in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
