Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa latest weather update

In Peshawar and many districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts mainly chilly and dry weather for the upcoming two days. The current weather pattern across Pakistan is characterized by the dominance of continental air.

Consequently, Wednesday evening/night, Thursday, and Friday are anticipated to bring mainly cold and dry conditions to Peshawar and the majority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Extremely cold weather is expected in upper districts.

Dense fog/smog is likely to persist in Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, Peshawar, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan and surroundings.

In Peshawar, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 04-06 degrees Celsius on Thursday and Friday.

During the past 24 hours, Peshawar and many areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa experienced cold and dry weather.

The upper districts faced extremely cold conditions. Kalam, situated in the province, recorded the lowest temperature, dropping to 6 degrees Celsius below freezing.

Peshawar had a minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 67 percent. Plains witnessed thick fog/smog, causing disorders to traffic on both inter and intra-city roads.
