ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has revealed its manifesto for the upcoming general elections in 2024.

During a press conference, PTI leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan presented the party’s manifesto, emphasizing plans to reform the education sector and prioritize skill-based education upon assuming power.

He highlighted the party’s commitment to promoting an independent foreign policy, ensuring that relations with other nations are grounded in Pakistan’s interests.

Additionally, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan stated that if PTI comes into power, the government’s tenure will be reduced to four years, considering that a five-year term exceeds the necessary time for effective governance.

Prior to this, PTI had issued a list featuring all 22 candidates for the National Assembly from Karachi. Notably, Wali Muhammad Mugheri, Dr. Masroor Sial, and Khalid Mehmood Ali were named as candidates for NA-229 (Malir-I), NA-230 (Malir-II), and NA-231 (Malir-III) respectively.

Similarly, Aleem Adil Sheikh, Advocate Haris Meo, and Faheem Khan were announced as candidates for NA-232 (Korangi-I), NA-233 (Korangi-II), and NA-234 (Korangi-III) respectively.

In the western part of Karachi, Aftab Jahangir, Attaullah Khan, and Malik Arif Awan secured PTI’s tickets for NA-244 (West-I), NA-245 (West-II), and NA-246 (West-III) respectively.

It is important to note that all PTI-nominated candidates are running as independents and under different symbols following a verdict by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
