Quetta Blast: five injured at PPP election office
Five people were injured in a hand grenade attack on the election office of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) near Gahi Khan Chowk on Saryab Road quetta. Police and rescue teams reached the spot after receiving information about the incident. According to rescue sources, the injured have been shifted to the hospital.
On the other hand, the Election Commission, taking notice of the bomb blast at the election office in Quetta, has sought a report from the Chief Secretary and IG Balochistan so that action can be taken against the people involved in the incident under the election laws.
It should be remembered that an explosion took place near the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally on Jinnah Road in Sibi city of Balochistan province yesterday, as a result of which four people were killed and many were injured.
Earlier, due to the explosion in the trash heap in Quetta, eight people have suffered injuries, including three kids.
According to SSP Operations, the blast took place in a dump of garbage under the bridge on Zarghun Road, Quetta. Additionally, as soon as the incident was reported, the rescue team reached the spot and shifted the injured to the hospital for immediate medical assistance.
The SSP operations further claimed that the children who got injuries were picking garbage while a traffic police personnel suffered injury near the bridge. A total of eight people have been injured in the blast.
