At least twelve people were killed in an explosion in Khanozai area of ​​Pishin district of Balochistan, Bol News reported on Wednesday.

The police confirmed the blast in Khanozai and said that the blast took place outside the office of a political party in which several people were injured.

The police say that as soon as the explosion was reported, a heavy police force reached the area and the injured are being shifted to the hospital.

The police have confirmed the death of 7 people in the explosion in Khanozai, while the death toll is expected to rise.

Earlier, Five people were injured in a hand grenade attack on the election office of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) near Gahi Khan Chowk on Saryab Road quetta. Police and rescue teams reached the spot after receiving information about the incident. According to rescue sources, the injured have been shifted to the hospital.

On the other hand, the Election Commission, taking notice of the bomb blast at the election office in Quetta, has sought a report from the Chief Secretary and IG Balochistan so that action can be taken against the people involved in the incident under the election laws.

It should be remembered that an explosion took place near the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally on Jinnah Road in Sibi city of Balochistan province yesterday, as a result of which four people were killed and many were injured.
