Gwadar declared disaster zone after torrential rains

Gwadar has been declared a disaster zone due to the alarming situation after the torrential rains.

Rain and hail are continuing in Gwadar and adjoining areas, rains in Nagor have broken the protective dams of the fields, due to which water is likely to move towards Gwadar city.

The Caretaker Provincial Information Minister Jan Achakzai has said that the Caretaker Chief Minister has signed the summary regarding the declaration of Gwadar as a disaster.

Moreover, after the rains in Gwadar, many areas are still under water, while more rains are continuing.

The citizens complain that there is no one to listen to their problems, the victims say that children, women and the elderly are hungry and thirsty, no one has been able to sleep for 3 days.
