Weather Update: Rain Expected in Karachi and Hyderabad

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted partly cloudy weather and more rains for Karachi on Tuesday evening/night.

According to the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.

Under these conditions, partly cloudy weather and light rain/drizzle is likely in Karachi and surroundings on Tuesday evening/night. Cold and dry weather is likely elsewhere in Sindh.

On Wednesday and Thursday, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh.

Karachi’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 16-18 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.

Hyderabad’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 15-17 C on Wednesday and Thursday.

Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed in most parts of Sindh during the last 24 hours. However, light rain/drizzle occurred in Karachi and coastal areas of Sindh.

Mithi remained the coldest place in the province where mercury dropped to 07 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded 72 per cent.

In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 17 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded 59 per cent.

In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 15 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded 52 percent.
