The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast cold weather for Murree and Galyat on Tuesday evening/night and the next two days.

According to the synoptic situation, mainland air conquers over most parts of Pakistan.

Under these conditions, extremely cold weather is expected in Murree, Galyat and surroundings on Tuesday evening/night, Wednesday and Thursday.

Cold and dry weather is likely in Lahore and most parts of Punjab. Light fog is likely to prevail at few places in Narowal, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Layyah, Bahawalpur and Multan during morning and night hours.

Murree’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between -0-01 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.

Lahore’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 07-09 C on Wednesday and 09-10 C on Thursday.

Meanwhile, cold and dry weather conquered in Lahore and most parts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. Freezing weather prevailed in Murree, Galyat and surroundings. Shallow fog conquered in parts of Punjab.

Murree remained the coldest place in the province where temperature dropped 01 C below freezing. Relative wetness during the morning was recorded 50 percent.

In Lahore, minimum temperature was recorded at 08 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded 87 percent.
