Rawalpindi RPO takes short vacation abroad

Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi Syed Khurram Ali has gone abroad on 15-day leave.

According to the spokesperson of RPO Rawalpindi, RPO Rawalpindi Khurram Ali went on leave on February 16.

Spokesman Khurram Ali says that the RPO’s name is being questioned in the press conference of the previous day, RPO Syed Khurram Ali has gone to the UK with his family and will return on March 2.

The spokesperson of RPO Rawalpindi further added that Khurram Ali applied for leave before the elections.

Earlier, Commissioner Rawalpindi Liaquat Ali Chatta has announced his resignation after admitting the irregularities in the general elections.

While adressing a press conference at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Commissioner Rawalpindi said that I did injustice in Rawalpindi Division during the elections, we changed the lost candidates to 50,000 lead, 13 MNAs of Rawalpindi Division were defeated, they were given 70,000 lead and played with the country.

Liaqaut Ali Chatta said, “I accept the responsibility of the election rigging in Rawalpindi Division and handover myself to the police announcing my resignation from my post, I should be given the death penalty in Rawalpindi’s Kachehri Chowk.

He added that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) are also involved in the rigging of the election, along with me, these people should also resign from their positions.
