The government of Sindh has declared that Karachi will observe a half-day tomorrow to minimize unnecessary travel due to expected rainfall.

To prevent any potential incidents, stringent measures have been put in place, and a rain emergency has been declared.

Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab confirmed this precautionary step on social media, advising people to refrain from traveling unless necessary during the weekend.

Preparations have been made as a precautionary measure, with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader emphasizing readiness.

The Meteorological Office has forecasted heavy rain, windstorms, and potentially isolated hailstorms in Sindh from February 29 to March 2.
