UAE work visa protector fee in Pakistan – February 2024
Pakistani citizens planning to work abroad, notably in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), must ensure their foreign employment agreements are safeguarded by the Protectorate of Emigrants (PE) office.
Upon submission of necessary documents and payment of fees, including OPF registration, life insurance, and OEC fees, the department affixes a protector stamp to the applicant’s passport.
This protection offers several advantages. Firstly, it grants complete legal safeguarding, ensuring workers receive full support from the Pakistani embassy in their destination country.
In cases of employer violations, individuals can seek legal assistance from the Community Welfare Attache at the Pakistani Embassy abroad. Additionally, it helps alleviate potential issues faced by the worker’s family back home.
For those obtaining a UAE work visa in 2024, the protector fee amounts to Rs2,500, covering a life risk insurance of Rs1,000,000 for five years.
Additionally, applicants must pay Rs2,000 for OPF, Rs2,500 for registration, and Rs200 for the OEC fee, totaling Rs7,200 for securing their work visa protection.
Life Insurance Fee: Rs. 2,500
OPF: Rs2,000
Registration Fee: Rs2,500
OEC Fee: Rs200
Total Fee: Rs 7200
