After heavy snowfall in the tourist resort of Galyat in Abbottabad, educational institutions were closed for 5 days.

According to details, due to severe snowfall in Galyat after heavy snowfall, the school was closed for 5 days considering the weather conditions.

According to the notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner, educational institutions in Galyat will now open on Wednesday.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has forecast rain in most parts of Northern Balochistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan and snowfall in the mountains.

Further, thunderstorms with rain and snowfall are expected in Abbottabad, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Mansehra, Haripur, Swabi, Mardan, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Bajaur, Khyber, Mohmand, Kurram, Kohat, and Waziristan.
