The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has projected varying levels of rainfall for Lahore and regions of Punjab come Friday. The synoptic analysis indicates the prevalence of a weak westerly wave across the upper territories of Pakistan, expected to endure until Friday.

In anticipation of this weather pattern, most districts within the province are poised to encounter partly cloudy conditions on Friday.

Subsequently, Friday evening and night are forecasted to usher in light to moderate rainfall alongside wind or thunderstorms in numerous areas, encompassing Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, and Sargodha.

The outlook for Friday includes the anticipation of light rainfall paired with wind or thunderstorms in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Lahore, and other locales.

Furthermore, Murree, Galyat, and nearby vicinities are anticipated to witness overcast skies accompanied by rain, wind, and thunderstorms.

Temperature projections for Lahore indicate a range between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius on both Friday and Saturday.

Meanwhile, the preceding 24-hour period has witnessed dry weather conditions prevailing in Lahore and most regions of the province, with Bahawalpur registering the highest temperature nationwide at 35°C.

Relative humidity levels in Lahore were recorded at 69 percent during the morning, while in Bahawalpur, they stood at 63 percent.

Given these weather forecasts, residents are strongly advised to remain abreast of local weather updates and undertake necessary precautions to ensure their safety during the anticipated rainfall and associated weather occurrences.
