Rain, light snowfall likely in Islamabad, Pakistan
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Peshawar and some areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to experience more rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snowfall over the hills on Sunday evening, night, and Monday.
This weather is due to a weather system called a westerly wave, which is affecting the northern parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, Chitral, Dir, Kalam, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Swabi, Mardan, Malakand, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Bajaur, Khyber, Mohmand, Kurram, and Kohat are likely to experience more rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snowfall over the hills on Sunday evening and night.
On Monday and Tuesday, Chitral and Dir are expected to continue experiencing rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snowfall over the hills, while the rest of the province is expected to have cold and dry weather.
Peshawar is expected to have minimum temperatures ranging between 05-07 degrees Celsius on Monday and 04-06 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
In the past 24 hours, some areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa experienced rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snowfall over the mountains, with heavy rain, snowfall, and hailstorms occurring in isolated places.

Kalat remained the coldest place in the country where mercury dropped 08 C below freezing.
In Peshawar, minimum temperature was recorded at 06 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 87 percent.
