MQM Pakistan may not back Vawda for Senate elections

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) of Pakistan has expressed the possibility of not supporting Faisal Vawda in the Senate elections.

MQM Pakistan has not yet made a final decision on the ticket. Many MQM Pakistan leaders are against supporting Faisal Vawda in the Senate.

The names of Aamir Chishti, Shahbaz Zaheer, and others are being considered by MQM Pakistan, and the final decision on the names of the candidates for the Senate elections will be made in the central ad hoc committee meeting.

Several MQM Pakistan leaders have insisted on giving Senate tickets to party candidates.

Earlier, President Asif Ali Zardari says that all stakeholders should work together for the security, stability, development, and prosperity of the country.

President Asif Ali Zardari, while speaking at the Pakistan Day parade ceremony at Shakarparian Ground Islamabad, said that Pakistan will never compromise on its sovereignty, the Pakistani nation and armed forces are always ready to respond to any aggression.

Zardari said that any attempt to destabilize Pakistan by terrorists or any other group will not be tolerated, Pakistan wants world peace and friendly relations with all countries, and we are responsible nuclear powers and believe in peaceful coexistence.
