According to a spokesperson, Pakistan Railways has achieved a significant achievement by operating its longest-ever freight train.

The train spans 2,500 feet and comprises 50 wagons, powered by a highly capable engine.

According to the railway spokesperson, the freight train carrying more than 3000 tons of cargo was transported from Karachi to Kotri.

Throughout the journey, the train attained a speed of 60 kilometers per hour, with an average speed of 38 kilometers per hour.

As per the railway spokesperson, this train can transport a weight equivalent to more than 94 22-wheeler trucks.
