Significant rainfall, snowfall in the hills, and isolated hailstorms expected in Peshawar and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday evening/night, Monday, and Tuesday, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

A westerly wave affecting southwestern Balochistan will likely spread across most of northern Pakistan.

Anticipate rain, wind, thunderstorms, snowfall in the hills, and isolated hailstorms in various areas including Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, and more during this period.

Heavy rain and snowfall may lead to road closures in areas like Galyat, Naran, Kaghan, and others. Wind, thunderstorms, or hailstorms could damage structures like electric poles and solar panels. Tourists are advised to avoid unnecessary travel.

In Peshawar, temperatures are expected to range between 12-15 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday. Cold and dry weather prevailed in the region over the past 24 hours, with freezing temperatures in upper districts. Kalam recorded the lowest temperature in the country, dropping to 8 degrees Celsius below freezing.
