Recently, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department revealed an updated schedule for school timings during Ramadan.

The revised timetable shows that primary schools throughout the province will start classes at 7:30 a.m., ending the school day at 11:10 a.m. On Fridays, the closing time will be earlier, at 10:05 a.m..

The notice also specifies that middle, secondary, and higher secondary schools will begin classes at 7:30 a.m. These schools will finish their sessions at 12:15 pm, except on Fridays, when they will close at 10:25 am.

In related updates, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is preparing for a gathering in Peshawar on March 11. Chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, the meeting is set to occur after the Asr prayers. The primary agenda is to monitor the sighting of the Ramadan moon.

Concurrently, multiple zonal committees will convene meetings in their respective areas to collect and assess reports of moon sightings. Should the crescent be observed, the beginning of the holy month will be on March 12.
