The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to start the search for foreign coaches for the national team on an emergency basis.

PCB has set eyes on some coaches on the issue of coaching staff of the national team.

In this regard, former Australian all-rounder and coach of Quetta Gladiators in PSL 9, Shane Watson has also joined the race of coaches of the Pakistan cricket team.

As per sources, Shane Watson is a strong candidate for Pakistan team coach, he can take charge in the series against New Zealand.

Moreover, sources say that senior officials of PCB have discussed the issue of coaching with Shane Watson.

However, Darren Sammy is also in the race for coaching, but Shane Watson has been declared as the favourite for coaching.

According to sources a decision regarding the coaches is likely to be taken soon.

furthermore, it should be noted that the next assignment of Pakistan cricket team is the series against New Zealand, this T20 series is scheduled in April.
