Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) President and Prime Ministerial candidate Shehbaz Sharif has said that members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly intimidated, threatened, and insulted lawmaker Sobia Shahid, which amounts to disrespecting Pashtun culture and traditions.

Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Sobia Shahid met Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad and paid tribute to him for the bravery of Sobia.

Shehbaz Sharif condemned the disrespectful behavior towards Sobia Shahid in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and stated that action should be taken against those who act against the dignity and respect of women. It is the responsibility of the Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly to apprehend those who engage in disrespectful conduct.

In this regard, Shahbaz Sharif said that PTI members are ignorant of the words of honor, respect and civility.
