Sindh Interior Minister Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar has said that there is a problem of street crime in Karachi, but it is being exaggerated.

While holding a press conference in Karachi, he said that he will show that by establishing peace and order in Sindh, there are problems of street crime in Karachi and law and order in the Kacha area.

Lanjar said that the Multan Sukkur Motorway is not closed, the SPs of Shikarpur, Sukkur , and Ghotki have been changed, Kashmore Police operations are going on in Kacha, the relatives of Shaheed Teacher Allah Rakhio have been detained, and till the arrest of the main accused, the relatives of the teacher will remain in custody.

He also promised to restore complete peace in Upper Sindh, the policemen have made sacrifices to maintain peace, raise the morale of the police so that they can fight on the ground, while 1000 police personnel are sending to Ghotki, and Kashmore districts, and SSU commandos will also be deployed.

Furthermore, the incidents of street crime in Karachi will end, wherever the incident occurs, there will be punishment with the SHO, and the matter will not remain with the SHO, but the IG has been told that such a mechanism is being made so that an investigating officer does not have more than ten cases.
