In remembrance of the death anniversary of former Prime Minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, all public and private schools in Karachi will be closed on April 4. This decision is also applicable to other cities in Sindh, including Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, and Jamshoor.

This marks the second holiday in the current week, with the first being on April 1 for Youm-e-Ali. The Sindh provincial government has officially declared this holiday through a notification. It states that all government offices, autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the provincial government, except those providing essential services, will also observe the holiday on Thursday.

This action ensures that students, teachers, and staff across Karachi can take a day off to reflect on and honor Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s legacy, while also acknowledging the cultural and historical importance of the event.
