The rain has left a happy family in ruins in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Malakand district.

Father and son died on the spot after a roof of a house collapsed due to rain in Sharifabad area of Malakand. Mother was, on the other hand, seriously injured.

The bodies of the deceased and mother were transferred to the hospital where she was given medical assistance.

As a result of rain in Malakand and its surrounding area, there is also fear of rivers flooding.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong winds and rain in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and Potohar region today, while there is a risk of flooding in the areas adjacent to the Kabul River.
