The National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) has rolled out a significant update for citizens seeking urgent issuance of their national identity cards without any extra charges.

Through social media, Nadra announced a reduction in the delivery time for urgent category ID cards, now promising completion within 15 days instead of the previous 23.

This move aims to ease the application process for the public. Citizens can now opt for the urgent category and expect their ID cards to arrive promptly within 15 days. This improvement is expected to bring relief to the masses.

The National Identity Card (NIC) is a crucial document issued to Pakistani citizens, incorporating advanced technology and strict business protocols to ensure its authenticity and reliability.

Its unique 13-digit identification number holds recognition nationwide and serves as a primary requirement for obtaining various documents such as licenses, National Tax Numbers (NTN), bank accounts, passports, and mobile connections.
