Rain, hailstorm predicted in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts rain, wind, or thunderstorms in Peshawar and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during Eid-ul-Fitr.

Currently, most of Pakistan has dry continental air, but a westerly wave is expected to come in from April 10th.

On Tuesday night, most areas in the province will likely have dry weather, except for Kurram, Kohat, Waziristan, Bannu, Tank, Khyber, Peshawar, and Bajaur, where rain, wind, or thunderstorms are possible.

On Wednesday (Eid day), Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, and several other places may experience rain, wind, or thunderstorms in the evening or at night.

Peshawar’s maximum temperatures are expected to be between 32-34 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 31-33 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

In the last 24 hours, Peshawar and most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had dry weather. Dera Ismail Khan was the hottest place in the province with a maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius. In Peshawar, the maximum temperature recorded was 34 degrees Celsius, with a relative humidity of 44 percent in the evening.
