Bilawal calls for politicians to address country’s challenges

LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has called for politicians to come together to address the challenges facing the country and its citizens.
He emphasized the necessity for dialogue among political figures, stating that without willingness to engage in discussions, problems cannot be effectively resolved.
He expressed these views while addressing a seminar “Bhutto’s Reference and History”, here on Sunday.
Bilawal stressed the importance of prioritizing the interests of Pakistan over engaging in blame game.
President Zardari as a symbol of the federation had sent a message of harmony and unity to the politicians but they had refused to accept his sincere offer and started raising hue and cry as they were not able to think beyond their personal interests.
He claimed that the PPP is a responsible party and wants to play a positive role, observing the judiciary had not done justice with Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and had not given fair trial to him.
He further said that the judiciary had admitted its blander, emphasizing the judiciary reforms.
The PPP chairman vowed they would do whatever was needed to rectify the system.
