Expected Petrol & Diesel Price in Pakistan From June 1
Inflation-hit Pakistanis can breathe a sigh of relief as petrol and diesel prices are expected to decrease by up to Rs7.50 per litre starting June 1, 2024, due to shifts in global oil prices. Recently, global oil prices have dropped by about $3.25 per barrel.
Consequently, petrol prices in Pakistan are anticipated to fall by Rs7.50 per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs6.25 per litre, based on the final calculations of the Inland Freight Equalisation Margin.

In second half of April 2024, the price of petrol stands at Rs273.10 per litre and diesel price hovers at Rs274.08.

Expected Petrol Price in Pakistan
Petrol is expected to drop by Rs7.50 per litre while Diesel price is expected to move down around Rs4 per litre.

The import premium for petrol has recently decreased by 7%, leading to a reduction in the current ex-depot rates for petrol and diesel, which are now Rs273.10 and Rs274.08 per litre, respectively.
