The Federal Directorate of Education, as the responsible body, declares the timetable for the summer break of 2024 for educational institutions falling under its jurisdiction.

These annual vacations, lasting nearly two months, aim to provide relief to students from the intense summer heat.

Weather projections for June indicate a possibility of temperatures reaching as high as 41 or 42 degrees Celsius in Islamabad, potentially leading to heatwaves in the city.
