To facilitate their interaction with Pakistani institutions, authorities have introduced the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP). NICOP streamlines access to services for Pakistani expatriates in the UAE and is recognized as a valid form of identification.

The fee structure for NADRA Smart NICOP varies as per region. UAE and other Middle East counties fall in Zone B of NADRA list.

Pakistani expatriates in the UAE have the option to acquire a NICOP card, enabling visa-free travel to South Asian nations for individuals with dual nationality. Residents can apply for a new Smart NICOP by visiting a Nadra center.

Additionally, residents in the UAE can utilize the Pak Identity app to renew their NICOP online, eliminating the need to physically visit a Nadra center.
