The Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) is issued to Pakistani citizens by the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra). It integrates cutting-edge technology and precise business protocols to ensure its genuineness and legality. Every Pakistani citizen aged 18 and above qualifies for a CNIC.

The card contains essential information, including the applicant’s name, father/spouse’s name, address, ID card number, signature, photograph, date of birth, marital status, gender, and religion. Applicants provide these details to Nadra personnel during the application process.

Modification involves updating the information on the identity document, such as changing the name, correcting name spellings, updating the address, or making other necessary changes.
