Students across Lahore and other cities in Punjab eagerly await their bikes through the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Bike Scheme 2024.

In the recent update, e-balloting for the provision of bikes to students on interest-free and soft installments took place on May 11, 2024. Provincial Minister for Transport, Bilal Akbar Khan, oversaw the e-balloting process, which aimed to allocate bikes under four categories. This initiative, part of the CM’s Youth Initiative program, garnered appreciation from participants for its focus on empowering women.

Minister Bilal Akbar Khan emphasized the cultural significance of the program and announced plans to expand the number of e-bikes in the second phase. Secretary Transport, Ahmed Javed Qazi, provided further details, indicating that 1,000 e-electric bikes and 19,000 petrol bikes would be distributed to students across various divisions.

The initiative received a tremendous response, with approximately 200,000 students registering and 72,640 submitting applications. Additionally, the event featured the presentation of commendation certificates to officers in recognition of their performance.

Punjab Bike Scheme 2024

As per the government statement, 19,000 petrol motorbikes and 1,000 electric bikes will be given away under the program to college and university students.

11,676 male students will get bike and 7,324 are for female students. Out of 1,000 Electric bikes, 700 have been allocated for male students and 300 for female students.
