The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has announced revised timing for all educational institutions under its jurisdiction, effective May 20, 2024, until further notice.

Single-shift schools will now run from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm Monday through Thursday and until 12:00 pm on Friday.

Meanwhile, double-shift schools will operate from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, with Friday concluding at 12:00 pm.

For Pre-I (Montessori/Prep) students, classes will run from 7:30 am to 11:30 am Monday through Friday, while Ex-FG Colleges will have classes from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm/4:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and until 12:00 pm on Friday.

These adjustments come in anticipation of an impending heatwave during the upcoming week.
