LAHORE: Starting June 6, 2024, the price of chicken in Punjab will drop significantly by Rs. 11 per kilogram.

Chicken meat is one of the most popular meats in Pakistan, with demand remaining high year-round due to its use in a variety of dishes.

According to official rates, the price of chicken meat in Lahore’s local market is now Rs 434 per kg.

The wholesale price of live broiler chickens is set at Rs 276 per kg, while the retail price is Rs 287 per kg.

Additionally, the price of a dozen eggs has slightly decreased to Rs 237, and a full crate of 350 eggs is now priced at Rs 6,990, reflecting a significant reduction.
