In celebration of Eid al-Adha 2024 in Pakistan, the Meat Merchants Association in Karachi has set official rates for animal slaughtering services, aimed at ensuring an affordable and smooth experience for the community. The cost for slaughtering a heifer is set at Rs20,000 on the first day of Eid. Similarly, sacrificing a goat will cost Rs10,000.

For those opting to sacrifice a camel, the fee is fixed at Rs40,000, accommodating various preferences. Nadeem Qureshi, a representative of the Meat Merchants Association, mentioned that rates for the subsequent days of Eid will significantly decrease, nearly halving from the initial day’s prices. This adjustment ensures that the sacrificial practices remain inclusive and convenient for all.

This Eid, Karachi’s Meat Merchants Association aims to make the essence of sacrifice more accessible and affordable, facilitating a joyous celebration with their seamless slaughtering services.
