Governor Sindh announces free goats to those in need on Eidul Adha 2024

Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori has said that sacrificial goats will be distributed among the orphan children or those whose guardians fell victim to robbery.

The announcement comes as Eidul Adha draws closer. It is expected that Eid will fall on June 17 in Pakistan.

Distribution Plans and Criteria

Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori visited the office of a welfare trust in Sohrab Goth and announced the donation of two camels for “Ijtamai Qurbani.”.

Speaking to the media, Kamran Tessori said that goats will be distributed at the Governor House for children who are orphaned or have fallen victim to robbery.

The process to distribute goats will be started three days before Eid, he said, adding that separately, 100 camels will be sacrificed during Eid days, and their meat will be distributed among the deserving and orphans.

Eligibility and Start Date

The governor announced that goats will be given to orphan children and those whose guardians were looted in robbery bids.

The goats will be distributed among orphan children and others three days before Eid. It is expected to begin on June 14 if Eid falls on June 17.
