The Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has inaugurated the ‘Digital School on Wheels’ initiative. This pioneering project aims to provide 1,000 government school teachers with complimentary digital training courses.

In collaboration with leading IT companies, this project will deploy buses equipped with computers and internet access, transforming them into mobile classrooms. These digital classrooms will travel to various parts of Punjab, making digital education more accessible.

The involvement of Google for Education indicates a commitment to incorporating modern educational tools and resources into the curriculum, which can be particularly beneficial for special needs education, like the autism school project.

Chief Minister’s vision for a reformed educational system reflects a broader strategy to integrate technology into education, thereby preparing the youth of Punjab for a future in which digital proficiency will be paramount.

The government’s proactive approach in identifying and addressing educational shortcomings is poised to create a ripple effect, potentially transforming the educational landscape of the region.
