Punjab CM launches ‘Maryam Ki Dastak App’

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched the “Maryam Ki Dastak App,” aimed at providing various facilities directly to the people’s doorsteps.

The app was unveiled during an inaugural ceremony at a local hotel in Lahore, attended by the provincial minister and other dignitaries.

The “Maryam Ki Dastak App” is designed to offer a range of services, including: Issuance of domicile, E-stamping, Death certificate, Marriage certificate, Divorce certificate and Motorcycle transfer.

Maryam Nawaz, during the launch, was briefed on the app’s capabilities and how it will streamline access to essential services for the residents of Punjab, enhancing convenience and efficiency in public service delivery.

Property tax, token tax and new vehicle registration city services will be provided at the doorstep of citizens through Maryam Ki Dastak App.

All citizens including senior citizens, women, sick and disabled will get 10 services at home instead of government office.

Dedicated number, mobile app and public portal are being provided to citizens for availing services.

Citizens can also track their applications with Tracking ID, Maryam was briefed.

Citizens can order services through Call Center Appointment Web Portal, Mobile App or Call Center 1202, she was told.

Dastak app will send a government approved Dastak representative to provide the required service to the citizen.

Earlier, the launching ceremony of Maryam Ki Dastak App started with recitation of Holy Quran and National Anthem.

At NUST’s stall, the robot greeted Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and she was given a briefing on Dastak app.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also visited virtual inspection of Dastak Office in Arfa Karim Tower by Metaverse Technology at ITU Stall

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz called the Dastak representatives on the stage. A group photo was also taken. Ten services will be provided by Maryam’s Dastak App.
