Karachi is preparing for a scorching and dry day, with temperatures soaring up to 37°C. Relief isn’t expected anytime soon, as humidity levels are around 65%, intensifying the heat.

However, there’s a slight positive note. The Meteorological Department forecasts potential drizzle in Karachi starting June 15, which could provide some much-needed respite, though it might increase humidity.

In other parts of Pakistan, central and southern regions will experience intense heat today. Though, Gilgit-Baltistan may see evening thunderstorms and light rain, offering a brief reprieve from the heat. Islamabad and its surroundings will remain dry and hot, with a chance of rain in Chitral, Kohistan, and Battagram.

Strong winds are anticipated in southern Balochistan, while upper Sindh will stay extremely hot, and coastal areas will be humid. If you’re in Karachi, stay cool and look forward to the possible drizzle from June 15 for some temporary relief from the heat.
