The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a warning about expected heavy rainfall across Pakistan from July 28 to 31.

Monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea are likely to bring significant rain to upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Galliyat, Murree, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. This could result in flash floods and landslides in these regions.

In coastal areas like Karachi, the weather will be cloudy with light rain or drizzle. Temperatures in Karachi could reach up to 35°C with high humidity, making it feel particularly hot and sticky.

Other cities such as Quetta, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar are also expected to receive rain during this period. The NDMA advises residents to prepare for potential flooding and disruptions caused by the heavy rainfall.
