On Wednesday, Pakistan is experiencing slow internet speeds, with disruptions impacting various services. PTCL’s internet services are particularly affected, causing widespread data outages and connectivity issues across multiple cities.

The problem, stemming from a fault in PTCL’s system, is notably impacting broadband services during peak hours.

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is closely monitoring the situation. With PTCL serving over half of the country’s internet users, the disruptions have intensified.

According to sources, internet connectivity has dropped to just 24% of normal levels, and downdetector has recorded a sharp increase in outage reports, with major complaints coming from Karachi, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Multan.
