Pakistani citizens residing in China can renew their passports by visiting the Pakistani embassy in Beijing. The embassy, a representation of Pakistan’s close ties with China, accepts applications for machine-readable passports from Monday to Friday, between 9 am and 11:30 am, excluding public holidays.

The embassy emphasizes that applications will only be accepted if all required documents are complete. Incomplete applications will be either rejected or put on hold.

Requirements for Issuance of Passport in China

Original valid computerized national identity card (CNIC) or NICOP.

Original Passport (including copies of pages 1-5 and the current visa/resident permit).
Loss report from Chinese police/immigration bureau in case of a lost passport.
For minors (under 18 years):
- Original Computerized Form “B” (CRC) or NICOP.
- Original Birth Certificate.
- Valid CNIC of parents.
- Must be accompanied by father, mother, or legal guardian.
- Guardianship/custodianship papers in case of separation.

Steps to Apply for Passport Renewal

Photograph: A photograph bearing token will be issued.
Fingerprints: Biometric fingerprints will be captured.
Data Collection: Applicant’s data will be taken.
Record Check: The record will be checked from the database.

Recommendation: A recommendation will be made for the issuance of the passport.
