Balochistan turmoil: talks with only those who accept Pakistan, says Ishaq Dar

Dar says talks with only those who accept Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that talks would be held with only those who accept the State of Pakistan and no negotiations with those who are playing in hands of enemies of the country.
He expressed these views while speaking in the Senate, here on Tuesday.
He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would visit Balochistan in couple of days and would take stock of the situation, adding that Balochistan is dearest country of Pakistan.
He urged that no politics should be done on the issue of Balochistan, adding that peace must be established in the province and the country.
Dar appeaked to all the political forces to sit together to find a practical way forward to eliminate terrorism and bring about economic stability to the country.
He said dialogue should be held with those, who believe in Pakistan but elements involved in creating chaos and killing innocent people in the name of estrangement should be condemned.
He said such elements are playing in the hands of Pakistan’s enemies to create instability in the country.
The foreign minister further said that terrorism could not be allowed on the pretext of resentment.
He said that the senators of both sides – treasury and opposition benches – must be clear in their minds that no talks would be held with those who are playing in hands of the enemies.
He maintained that the government was ready to debate the Balochistan issue but they had to condemn those who were creating chaos in the country.
Dar lamented that whenever Pakistan was about to take off economically, instability is spread in the country; whenever the direction of the economy starts to improve, some problem is created.
He suggested, “We have to find a solution for this, sit down, discuss and form a committee.”
“Don’t let the troublemakers succeed,” Dar said, adding, “I am not blaming anyone but we made a blunder in the name of dialogue.
He lamented, “Now we have become from 24th to 47th economy in the world due to wrong policies.”
“Let us think together for the betterment of the country.
