KARACHI: Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz has said that the deep depression is currently located at a distance of 250km from Karachi.

This system is slow, and a deep depression is moving west, southwest, he said, adding as the system enters the ocean, it will increase in intensity.

As soon as the sea gets a favorable atmosphere, it will turn into a hurricane. It is expected to turn into Hurricane Sunny by tomorrow morning.

At present, heavy rain is continuing in Badin, Umarkot, Chur, Dadu and adjacent areas.

Rain will intensify in the city till tonight. A second tropical cyclone advisory will be issued at 10 pm.
