Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday strongly condemned a terrorist attack in Kalat that claimed the lives of police and Levies personnel.

In a statement from the PM Office, the prime minister expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of the security personnel and offered prayers for both the fallen and the injured.

He also extended his sympathies to the bereaved families, praying for their strength during this difficult time, and directed the authorities to ensure the injured received the best possible medical care.

PM Shehbaz Sharif ordered an immediate investigation into the attack, emphasizing the need to bring the perpetrators to justice.

He reaffirmed that the nation would never forget the sacrifices of its police and security forces, and stressed that such cowardly acts would not weaken the country’s resolve.

The prime minister stated that the nation stood by the security forces in the war against terrorism and that the terrorists’ nefarious designs to mar the country’s peace would not succeed.
