Accountability Court transfers new Toshakhana reference to FIA

ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court has transferred the new Toshakhana reference against the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Accountability Court Judge Mohammad Ali Warraich has issued a written judgment.

Under the NAB Amendments, cases below Rs500 million is not in the jurisdiction of the anti-corruption watchdog. The new Toshakhana reference’s worth is less than Rs500 million.

Lawyers of the both parties may appear in the court of Special Judge Central on September 10, the judge said.
