More rains predicted in upper districts of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Significant rainfall, with isolated heavy showers, is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, and various parts of Sindh on Tuesday night and Wednesday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

Monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea are affecting southern and eastern Pakistan, while a shallow westerly wave is present over Kashmir and nearby regions.

Due to these weather conditions, rain is anticipated in Sukkur, Larkana, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Dadu, Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Tharparkar, Sanghar, Khairpur, Umerkot, Mithi, Mirpurkhas, and surrounding areas on Tuesday night.

On Wednesday, rain is likely to continue in Ghotki, Shikarpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Kashmore, Dadu, Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Tharparkar, Sanghar, Khairpur, Umerkot, Mithi, Mirpurkhas, and nearby areas.

Heavy falls may occur in isolated locations such as Tharparkar, Sanghar, Khairpur, Umerkot, Mithi, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, and surrounding areas during this period.

Karachi’s maximum temperature is expected to be between 32-34°C on Wednesday and 33-35°C on Thursday. Hyderabad’s maximum temperature is forecasted to range between 33-35°C on Wednesday and 34-36°C on Thursday. In the last 24 hours, upper and southeastern Sindh experienced rain with isolated heavy falls.

In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 33°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 64 percent.

In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature was recorded at 34°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 73 percent.
